Help Get RapCraft Going!

Hey Everybody! The purpose of this blog is to help get the word out on the RapCraft 3D Printer. This awesome new machine is a printer that can print solid, three dimensional objects right off of your computer. Pretty Awesome, right? It is not the first of its kind, but it sets itself apart from its predecessors by its completely metal structure, giving it more durability than other printers. It is also designed to print more quickly than other printers while retaining production of high-quality products. The software that allows you to create what you want to print is open source, which means its 100% FREE to download. To top it all off, the printer comes ready to use, no assembly required!

Now, you may be wondering why on earth you could possibly need a 3D printer. Well guess what, all of those little plastic pieces that come in anything and everything can be replicated by a 3D printer. That's right, when those small, essential plastic bits on your newly purchased whatever break, you can just waltz on over to your 3D printer and pop out a replacement. No need to send the whole product back, or get charged for repair jobs, you can get the piece yourself. Not only can you use it to replace broken hardware, but you can create anything you want. If you can dream it up, you can create a small model to show off to your friends. Need to model something for work? No problem, stick the design in and watch it come to life before your eyes.

With a machine this awesome you're probably thinking "Where can I get one?" Unfortunately they are so new that they are not yet being produced for the general public. In addition, the software that will allow for the creation of designs is incomplete. The only thing holding the team back that is developing this printer is a lack of funding. You can help get this amazing invention started up by supporting it at kickstarter.com, pledging as much, or as little, as you feel comfortable with. Every bit helps and yours won't go unnoticed. Need more information before making your decision? Check them out at rapcraft.com. Tell your friends about them, and help get their project off the ground so you can start printing!
